The Empress

When I see the Empress in the  tarot.  I think of bountifulness walking along a green pasture, with beautiful flowers all around the beauty of nature and  things that add beauty to our lives. Prosperity  and abundance comes to mind when I meditate on the Empress.  My intuition brings me to  motherhood a symbol of fertility. A woman who is warm, loving and nurturing.The  Empress symbolize fertility, fruitfulness and femininity A woman that is  admired for  her beauty and her dedication to her children and family.  There is another angle you can analyze about the  Empress. She can symbolize  a time to be pregnant with new ideas as you allow them to  grow and flourish into something great and beautiful.This can be a  birth of new promise. The Empress can symbolize a new beginning and new ventures that can be disguised as small opportunities in the embryonic stage but will grow into a prosperous opportunity.

Reverse Meaning of Empress

The reverse part of the Empress can symbolize a difficult time in getting pregnant or a challenged pregnancy. Also  in the areas of  love this can symbolize a time of challenges in a relationship.  With work this can also symbolize a financial difficult time or a lack of prosperity.
